Mallu raax!

A special hello to all my fellow mallus(for those who r not familiar with this-malayalees)..!
onakam!..well,i was recently running a little research on how(in the world?!) did my parents come up with my name..interesting as it gets, all of us mallus are only too familiar with these names. My research was so like my profession. After questioning my parents about this name the reply was just as expected: its just one of the common names in our native land.so i turned to my most trusted source of information-the internet. first thing i looked up was what does shinu mean..and heres to the people who still dwell on this question. It means 'to die' in Japanese!!!..
i was clearly taken aback..i mean just imagine one fine day i land up in this gr8 country and greet the locals while introducing oneself.how do i address myself when it has such a ghostly interpretation in their tongue?!..anyways,i will surely narrate that great encounter if it ever comes across in my life. For now lets get back to my interesting research. Actually that was as far as the net could take(show) me.then i turned to my real life and believe it or not....
here's some of the ecstatic encounters i had some days aftr my research:-
1. A wedding invitation handed to my dad said:
'Sissy weds Shinto'(no offense to the mentioned couple..plz if your still offended you may read ahead and im sure you'll be thankful for having such sweet names)..
2.Attendence taken by teacher in shool:
twins in the class...this is exactly what happens:
Teacher:'Prince Joseph'....
Student:'present ma'am'
Teacher:'Princess Joseph'
Student"'pres...."
Teacher:'what??!...oh ok..ya..' (poor mr. Joseph..)
3.A relative whose daughters' names go like this:
DIJINA, DUNO and DANGLEY...(quite interesting)
4. two brothers:Jo an Ji.....you guys rock!

so that was just a brief list of the unusual names which are not so unusual down south..not forgetting mine as well(shinu and shinta)...ya and i also concluded a famous trend. The names either start with the same letter or if not that they have to rhyme..
so you see..all the simble peoples of kerala do not be ashamed of your names...we have company!(:P)
